What is Pranayama? 

Pranayama is a Sanskrit word meaning "life force control." It involves breathing exercises for well-being. 

Benefits of Pranayama

Simple Pranayama Technique 

Sit comfortably. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, filling your belly. Exhale slowly through your nose or mouth. 

Kapalbhati 

Inhale deeply, then exhale forcefully in short bursts through your nose, like pumping bellows.  

Bhramari Pranayama  

Inhale deeply, then exhale slowly through your nose while making a humming sound. 

Anuloma Viloma 

Close your right nostril with your thumb. Inhale through your left nostril. Close your left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through your right nostril.  

When to Practice Pranayama 

Practice Pranayama in a quiet, well-ventilated space.  

Listen to Your Body 

Pay attention to your body's sensations during Pranayama. If you feel any discomfort, stop and rest.
