YOGA POSES FOR STRONG BACK

Cat-Cow Pose

Hands, knees, flat back. Inhale arch up, exhale round

Child's Pose

Kneel, rest head, arms front/sides 

Downward-Facing Dog

Hands, knees, tuck toes. Press hips high, legs straight. Flat back, gaze down. 

Plank Pose

Downward Dog > Push-up (elbows 90° wrists) 

Bridge Pose

Lie back, knees bent, feet flat. Lift hips high for bridge pose. 

Locust Pose

Lie flat, lift chest, head, legs. Downward gaze

Supine Twist

Back flat, legs join. Bend right knee, foot out by left hip. Left arm out, palm flat. 

Thread the Needle Pose

Hands & knees, back flat. Reach right arm out, thread left arm under & place left palm down.  

Pigeon Pose

Hands, knees, flat back. Step right foot forward, left leg back straight.
