YOGA POSES FOR TAIL BONE PAIN

Child's Pose  

Child's pose eases back & tailbone. Kneel, toes together, rest on heels. Forehead on mat, arms out.

Cat-Cow Pose 

Flowing spine stretch loosens lower back, aids tailbone

Knee to Chest Pose  

Lie on back, knees bent (feet flat). Stretches back & glutes, easing tailbone tension.

Supine Hamstring Stretch 

Hamstring stretch helps tailbone pain (indirectly). Lie on back, one leg straight 

Bridge Pose  

Lie back, knees bent, feet flat. Lift hips high for bridge pose. 

Downward-Facing Dog 

Hands & knees, push hips back & up (bent knees). Lengthen spine & neck

Reclining Bound Angle Pose  

Lie back, feet together, knees open. Prop hips (pillows OK). 

Locust Pose 

Stomach, forehead down, lift chest & legs, arms at sides

Pigeon Pose 

Hip opener relieve tailbone pain 

Seated Twist  

Gentle twist eases spine & hip tightness, aiding tailbone
